Peter Kallodaychsak, Principal
Peter made his mark in the financial technology industry with over 15 years of senior management experience and experience executing multiple large-scale projects for lenders including Lehman Brothers, HSBC and National City. Peter got his start in the mortgage industry as a project manager at ARC Systems and has served on committees for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Texas MBA and held speaking engagements and moderated industry panels. Most recently Peter has been working with Calque Inc., a tech-driven company that partners with lenders to offer an innovative home loan solution called The Trade-In Mortgage. Prior to this Peter served as Founder of A.M.S. and as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Peter brought his straight-forward approach to operations and organizational efficiency to Open Mortgage LLC. That strategic vision drove him to co-found Advisors Mortgage Services (AMS) to help create partnerships and a technology platform to bring the fiduciary relationship to the mortgage process.Peter is a true Texan, born and raised. He spent 9 years in the United States Marine Corps and attended Southern Illinois University. When not solving the world’s fintech problems, Peter can be found enjoying the vast Texas outdoors.
James Howard, VP Technology
Jim founded CalDixie to leverage his experience to help others in central Texas tackle technology projects. CalDixie can be found online at caldixie.com. Prior to CalDixie, Jim worked at Open Mortgage as Chief Technical Officer. At Open, he grew the Technology department to six, modernized their development processes and moved all critical business systems to the cloud. In the end, his team supported over 30 business systems and over 300 users. Besides working in mid- and large-sized organizations, Jim is also a startup veteran. He’s started his own business and participated in creating and selling large internet projects. Prior to moving to Texas, he created and managed web and video projects for Hollywood properties like Fox Searchlight, Jerry Springer and COPS. He also co-created the online member management and event registration portal for the National Auto Sport Association.Jim still has a love of automobiles and a garage full of tools from his racing days. A native Californian, he earned his degree at UCLA and lived on both coasts before settling in the middle, moving to Austin in 2007 with his wife and two children.
